This is the Attendant End Fit version of the Mermaid Bath Hoist which has a mechanical lifting action and which is intended to be fitted at the end of the bath rather than at the side.

The price is for the column and the standard seat so this is a ready-to-use bath hoist.

The lift itself is accomplished using a winding handle, so it takes out all the risks associated with manual lifting. The hoist is fixed to the floor using special heavy duty fixings, which can be used on wooden or tiled concrete floors. This provides a solid base for the seat and arm, which can be used to carry out transfers that are safe for both the user and the carer. The arm has a failsafe locking device and the seat has a lap belt and an automatic locking mechanism so the user is kept safe from slips and falls both during the transfer and while in the bath.
