TransAqua Shower Chair - Attendant Controlled
With a large range of optional accessories and a modular design, the TransAqua Shower Chair offers flexibility for both user and carer. The durable, polished stainless steel frame has a long lasting finish for extended life, and is corrosion resistant. Swing away and removable locking armrests enable easy side transfers, whilst swing away, removable and height adjustable footplates provide easy carer access, easy hoisting, and user comfort. The HF welded horseshoe seat is completely sealed against water ingress and the fabric contains anti-fungal agent Biocene, offering increased levels of hygiene and reduced risk of cross infection.
The padded seat is available with medium (165mm) or large (210mm) aperture width and can easily be removed for cleaning. The Attendant Controlled version features four braked castors, and the Self Propelled option features anti-tip bars, easy-to-apply brakes and rear wheels which can be set back for added stability. Both versions are sold either readily assembled or flat packed and have a standard chair width of 457mm (18"). The TransAqua Shower Chair can be autoclaved on cleaning cycles at 80°C.
