Bed Wedge.
The Bed Wedge is a highly effective, well manufactured bed positioning aid that is soft and comfortable and can be used either upright or horizontally to provide effective postural support when sitting up or reclining in bed. Singly, it affords good support and makes tasks such as reading easier and more comfortable, but it can also be used as one of a pair to create additional options for support and positioning. The removable cotton cover is secured with Velcro tabs and is easy to clean. It can be hand washed at 40 degrees Celsius, while the foam pad can be wiped clean and treated with gentle disinfectants.

This was purchased hoping to improve my periodic waking struggles for breath. It has been a great success. No more gasping for relief struggles into an upright position. Piled pillows worked for an hour or two but then slipped or squashed whereas a firm pillow at the top of the wedge has given me a good nights sleep. A good simple answer to the problem. Many thanks.
