It reduces strain on the carer when handling a patient and has an ergonomic design with comfort and safety in mind. The unique four-bar system gives a broad range of options for people of all different heights allowing them to pull themselves up to a standing position without having to strain or overreach. Contoured padded knee pads are fully height and width adjustable to suit the specific needs of the user. Once the user is in place the Atlas Advance boasts outstanding manoeuvrability thanks to the central wheels and four additional castors affording the carer greater control during the transfer. The low height of the standing platform means it will fit under most divan beds and makes it easy to get onto. This patient transfer system is suitable for those who are able to support their own weight.
