The cushions specially layered foam gives it a natural spring, which gently raises the user to a standing position as they lean forward and their body weight shifts. The Easy Rise Cushion is very simple an remarkably effective and having no moving parts to go wrong, it should offer the user many years of reliable service. The cushion"s multiple layers of foam provide excellent comfort and also raise the effective height of the seat or chair by 100mm (4") and this, in itself, also acts as a useful aid to standing.

Great comfort by Ken
I bought two of these, as I was having to use extra cushions on my arm chair and sofa, to help me get up. I was carrying extra cushions back and forth. Now I have Easy Rise cushions I don’t need to carry extra cushions around. It’s really comfortable and firm, compared to the old cushions which rucked up.
