They are adult nappies that offer you all the protection of a pad with the security of pants to help keep you dry and comfortable.
These pads are useful because they allow the skin to breathe while offering superior levels of absorbency. They also neutralise odours making sure that the wearer is confident and comfortable. Some even have wetness indicators to help you know when they need changing.
People who are immobile or have limited mobility, with heavy or double incontinence (urinary and bowel), who may need the help of a carer when changing their pad could benefit from this style of pad.
Consider what level of absorbency would be best suited for your needs. Usually, the higher the number or droplets indicates a higher absorbency.
For sizing purposes, we recommend that you take both your waist and hip measurements. The larger of the two is most commonly used to determine the best fit on the size chart for the product.
If the pad is for bowel incontinence, look for pants with the ‘Maxi’ rating. This tells you that they are the most absorbent option in the range and are suitable for managing both urinary and bowel incontinence.
