This is the Extra Extra Large version of the Female Hip Shield which is a highly effective safety device that has been specially designed to help protect against hip fractures. Ideal for elderly people with more delicate bones and people who may be recovering from operations, the Female Hip Shield provides optimum comfort and is highly discreet when worn under clothing. In the event of a blow or a fall, the Hip Shield is designed to minimise the risk of injury by deflecting the force of the impact away from the hip joint and absorbing some of the immediate shock. The Female Hip Shield is made from a compressible honeycomb material while its outer surface is smooth, enabling it to slip easily into a special pocket that is stitched into the accompanying pair of protector pants that are supplied with the shield. These pants are available in either male or female style and fitting with a range of different sizes all available in this section of the shop.
