4. Attach the mouthpiece or mask to the nebuliser.
5. Sit or comfortably position yourself and ensure you can breathe comfortably during the treatment.
6. Turn on the nebuliser and inhale the mist slowly and deeply through the mouthpiece or mask.
7. Continue inhaling until all the medication has been administered, which may take about 10–15 minutes.
8. After the treatment, clean and disinfect the nebuliser components as per the manufacturer's guidelines.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to keep your nebuliser working properly and to prevent contamination. Here's how to do it:

1. After each use, disassemble the nebuliser and wash all parts that come into contact with medication (such as the mask, mouthpiece, and medication cup) with warm, soapy water.
2. Rinse thoroughly and allow all parts to air dry on a clean, dry surface.
3. Sterilise the nebuliser components by boiling them for a few minutes or using a disinfectant solution as recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Replace the air filter as directed by the manufacturer.
5. Store the nebuliser in a dry, clean place, and protect it from dust and contaminants.
