It's very important to set the parking brake on the rollator before sitting on the seat. This is to make sure that the rollator won't roll away without you as you go to sit down, causing a fall.
Make sure to check that the maximum user weight on your chosen rollator is right for you. If you're very close to the limit (e.g. the rollator is rated for weights up to 14 stone and you are 13st 9lbs) you may want to consider a different rollator with a higher limit as our weights can fluctuate throughout the year.
