Sunrise Medical focussed on a clear strategy while designing this chair; maintain the lightweight 5.2kg lifting weight from the Quickie Helium, improve its energy efficiency performance and to make life easier for the user.
Using a combination of oval tubing, 7020 Aluminium and hollow forged technology, Sunrise Medical have been able to improve the rigidity with the Nitrum wheelchair which means you have a super stiff frame offering you fantastic manoeuvrability, yet still the lightest adjustable aluminium wheelchair of its type on the market today.
The Nitrum frame offers more frame options than ever before. An incredible 2,880 different frame configurations can be achieved, which helps to deliver you the ultimate in custom fitting and fine tuning resulting in increased comfort and performance.
Sunrise Medical have also redesigned the backrest and brackets to make it harder wearing and simpler to fold with only one hand using a new quick release system.
New features and options such as LED lights, twist to lock backrest and fold in sideguards help to make your day to day life as easy as possible.
