Mobility scooters come in two legal categories which are Class 2 and Class 3. The differences in weight, power and speed of the two enable them to be used in different environments, but also have different legal requirements for the driver. Class 2 mobility scooters are generally smaller, lighter and less powerful and are ideal for indoor or outdoor use - although their range outdoors will be limited compared to Class 3 scooters.
Our small mobility scooters either fold up to a compact size or can be dismantled - either way, they are made for ease of transportation. Please be aware that small mobility scooters are not allowed on the road unless there is no pavement or you need to cross over the road. As such, these small mobility scooters do not need to be registered with the Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).
