This Extra Large Workhard D-Ring Wrist and Thumb Spica Splint designed for the right wrist, also comes in five sizes and both left and right fittings. This Extra Large version is the largest in the range. It is helpful when the user is recovering from an injury and needs to keep the wrist and thumb immobilised and well supported. Its wrap-around design incorporates two metal stays that keep the joint correctly aligned. One stay supports the thumb joint whilst the other keeps the wrist at a fifteen degree angle. Amply padded, it is soft on the skin but very durable and it can therefore be worn in working environments.
