This is the smaller of two available Swift Manual Wheelchair's, an attendant-propelled wheelchair that is equipped with cable brakes. In other respects, it is similar to the Swift self-propelled wheelchair. It has the same lightweight aluminium frame and is designed principally for occasional use, either indoors or out. It folds easily and can quickly be disassembled without the need for tools, so transportation and storage could not be easier. Outdoors, its lightness and puncture-proof tyres help to ensure trouble-free mobility, while indoors, its compact design and half-folding back make it easy and convenient to use. This is the 410mm (16") wide seat model; a wider 460mm (18") version is also available in this section of the website.
