Ocean VIP Tilt In Space Shower Commode Chair
Designed to benefit a wide range of people and their postural needs, the Aquatec Ocean VIP is a shower commode chair with castors - part of the Aquatec Ocean series of shower commode chairs from Invacare.
Its stainless steel, corrosion-free frame features a seat tilt which can be individually adjusted from 0-40° and is extremely stable even at the maximum tilt angle. More effectively fitting the shape of the buttocks, the seat is moulded and allows a more upright, stable position when seated.
With an integrated 5° seat tilt, the knees are also lifted into the natural squat position, allowing more efficient toileting, and at the front of the seat there are transfer support indentations, allowing the individual to position themselves comfortably for toileting and showering.
The machine-washable, tension-adjustable backrest can be manoeuvred to suit the positioning of the user's spine.
A height and depth adjustable headrest is included, as is the angle adjustable, flip up and textured footplates with heel loops and height adjustable, swing away detachable footrests. Ergonomic swing away armrests, which can be adjusted to two different heights, also come as standard with the Aquatec Ocean VIP shower commode chair.
Four locking castors ensure the commode chair is stable and the product also comes complete with a sanitary pan holder and sanitary pan with lid.
Please note that this commode chair does not include any soft seat as standard.
