This is the Large version of the Male Hip Shield - an effective safety device that helps to protect against hip fractures. Particularly suitable for elderly people with more delicate bones and people who may be recovering from operations, the Male Hip Shield is comfortable to wear and very discreet when worn under trousers. In the event of a blow or a fall, the Hip Shield is designed to minimise the risk of injury by deflecting the force of the impact away from the hip joint and absorbing some of the immediate shock. The Male Hip Shield is made from a compressible honeycomb material while its outer surface is smooth, enabling it to slip easily into a special pocket that is stitched into the accompanying pair of protector pants that are supplied with the shield. These pants are available in either male or female style and fitting with a range of different sizes all available in this section of the shop.
