This is a very practical and safe manually operated bath hoist which can be fitted at either the side or the end of the bath. By simply winding an easy to operate handle, the attendant can raise and lower the patient into and out of the bath with ease. The seat simply swivels on a central mast and the attendant only needs to push the patient sideways to effect safe bathing. Out of the bath the arms of the seat can be swung away to enable sideways transfer.
