Apollo 5 Plus Airflow Mattress
The Apollo 5 Plus Airflow Mattress is a replacement mattress that consists of a single set of support cells sat on a covered foam base.
Specially designed for users that are considered to be at a Very High Risk of developing pressure ulcers, it is also ideal for those with existing tissue damage (pressure ulcer grade 1 to 4). This Apollo 5 Plus Air Flow Mattress comes supplied as standard with an exceptional pump that is easy to use and is both quiet and efficient therefore reducing the need for complex training, making this superb mattress ideal for use within most care and nursing environments. Highly unique this Alternating Pressure Mattress features a static mode which enables a stable surface to allow for safe patient transfers and handling. This mattress manually adjusts to the user's body shape and position to provide the user with supreme comfort and the best pressure care. Featuring 18 individual cells provide an extremely dynamic alternating therapy action for lower interface pressures and gentle capillary stimulation. It also boasts a humidity management to help prevent tissue breakdown and skin maceration. As standard the Mattress is supplied with a zipped PU cover which helps to prevent fluid ingress and internal mattress contamination, the cover can be removed with ease for cleaning. To promote optimum hygiene the cover can be simply wiped clean or machine washed up to 95 degrees to aid decontamination. In the case of an emergency the Apollo Alternating Pressure Mattress has a rapid deflation for quick access CPR.
