Sara Stedy Stand Aid
The Sara Stedy Stand Aid is a non-powered standing aid that lets a single carer help clients carry out sit to stand transfers.

The Sara Stedy can be used to support standing, as well as for transfers over short distances when your client is seated. It promotes early mobilisation, encouraging clients to be active during their transfers. With just a single carer able to operate the Sara Stedy, it makes transfers simpler for a range of clients, of different sizes and clinical assessments.
With a crossbar handle, your client can support themselves actively by pulling, and use the knee support pad to raise to standing - as well as for extra support during the transfer itself. The pivoting seat opening can be moved out so your client can stand, and gives an angled, seated support during transfers. For added convenience, the pedal-operated chassis legs can be more easily adjusted by foot, for access to wider chairs.
Please note: Your client must be able to stand upright for a short time, for the divided seat to be positioned correctly behind them.
