Original MedSurg Shoe
This version of the Original MedSurg Shoe from Darco is supplied in the smallest of three fittings for men.
With a well established track record, it provides excellent stability and control of fore-foot movement, thereby helping to promote swifter recovery after surgery. The heel is padded and reinforced so it holds the foot securely and minimises the risk of slipping or similar movement within the shoe.
The upper is made from a lightweight, vapour permeable material. It is comfortable to wear and will accommodate bony protrusions on the surface of the foot without exerting painful pressure. The straps do not require buckles to close, so they remove the risk of uncomfortable localised pressure and they are sufficiently long that they will close securely over even large dressings.
