Together, these features make it a simple process to move the user steadily and gently between positions. A variable-length strap helps to provide the best comfort and safety possible. A common application for this hoist is the transfer of a user from a wheelchair and into a bed.
The Oxford Elara Ceiling Hoist is a very popular choice with our customers due to its solid build quality and exceptional value for money, and remains one of the most widely used ceiling hoists in the country. A full one year manufacturer's warranty provides added peace of mind and reassures you of Oxford's high standard of components and construction quality. Suitable for use in both the home and healthcare institutions, the 2 Way Oxford Elara Ceiling Hoist is capable of operation with a maximum user weight of 227kg (35.75 stone), making it ideal for the majority of day-to-day situations.
Please note that this is the 2 Way version of the Oxford Elara Ceiling Hoist. 4 Way versions as well as higher weight bearing models are also available.
Please note: Before its first use the hoist must be assembled and commissioned by a ‘competent person’, to establish the assembly was correct and safe.
