The Configura helps to reduce the formation of pressure ulcers and is configurable so that you can position it perfectly for your individual needs.
The seat overlay has an integrated Visco foam insert that you can also have a professional replace with an equivalent alternative insert.
Dual motor tilt-in-space
A tilt-in-space mechanism lowers the back and lifts the legrest, helping to redistribute pressure, help with corrective positioning, or other seating requirements. It’s controlled with a 4-button handset that’s designed to be simple to use.
The rise and recline mechanism helps to gently guide you down into your seat from standing, as well as standing back up from a seated position. With independent no-shear backrest recline, it offers both standard and flat rise seating options.
In-built safety
The Configura chair’s handset has a safety locking feature, which you can find on the back of the chair, that can be used for extra safety. The chair has an emergency battery-operated reset system, which will let it return to the normal upright position in the event of a power failure.
If you need additional assistance like a transfer aid, you can use it alongside the Configura thanks to its subframe design that can accommodate a variety of aids.
