Oval 8 Finger Splint
Nearly invisible and exceptionally strong this Oval 8 Finger Splint improves an individual's hand function by aligning and stabilising the PIP or DIP joint.
Using two splints results in full immobilisation and can be used at the DIP or PIP for control and rest. It can be used for a number of things, such as supporting mallet finger injury, helping to prevent trigger finger, correcting lateral deviation, swan-neck deformity and flexible boutonniere deformity. Moulded from 1.6mm translucent plastic without any seams and will fit a full size but when rotated 180 degrees, a further half size, to compensate for any finger size fluctuations caused by changes in temperature and oedema.
