Oval 8 Finger Splint
The nearly invisible and strong Oval 8 Finger Splint can align and stabilise the DIP or PIP joint to improve hand function.
Moulded from 1.6mm translucent plastic, this finger splint has no seams and is able to be modified by spot heating using a heat gun. The splint can be used for a number of things, such as helping to prevent trigger finger, supporting mallet finger injury, correcting lateral deviation, swan-neck deformity and flexible boutonniere deformity. For full immobilisation, the individual can use two Oval 8 Finger Splints at the DIP or PIP for rest and control. Each splint can fit a full size and when rotated 180 degrees, an extra half size, which can accommodate fluctuations in temperature and oedema that can have an effect on finger size.
