Oval 8 Finger Splint
The Oval 8 Finger Splint is almost invisible to the eye and incredibly strong.
Its aim is to align and stabilise the PIP and DIP joint to enhance the user's hand function. This splint can be used for a number of reasons, including supporting mallet finger injury, helping to prevent trigger finger, correcting lateral deviation, swan-neck deformity and flexible boutonniere deformity. It has been moulded from 1.6 mm translucent plastic with no seams. Two Oval 8 Finger Splint can be used at the DIP or PIP for full immobilisation to allow it rest and have control. Each splint is able to fit a full size and when rotated 180 degrees, an additional half size, which will then allow for oedema and temperature fluctuations that can affect the size of the finger. The Oval 8 Finger Splint can be modified via spot heating using a heat gun; available in sizes 2 to 15 from this area of the website.
